When what do I see? Turkey / Croatia
The English players should watch this and weep
They couldn’t have equalised or won a
Penalty shoot-out under that pressure
Rustu the goalkeeper is a hero
He saved two out of three though his howler
Had only shortly before seemed to sow
The seeds of defeat, but in their last go
Turkey drew level. Feelings hit their peak
With fans of both sides in hysteria
The lottery of spot-kicks always so
Dramatic, heroes turning villain. Bleak
Evening for Croats. But for Turks… Hurrah!
