This talk of depression could make us sad
Depressed, even, finances in freefall
The bankers caused it, then they had the gall
To ask us all to bail them out again
They lent too freely, now they lend fuck all
Will shares and property rise? If so, when?
My tracker mortgage, so cheap by year's end
Is costlier, my two year deal's been had
Not even worth transferring, I've checked all
Available deals again and again
Thank God I didn't buy that detached pad
In Wilmslow, just before the house price fall!
