That crazy thing called human relations
You start off thinking that someone is great
Then quite quickly you run out of patience
And both friendship and love can turn to hate
Part of the problem can be our own state
Of mind, self-confidence and loneliness
You know what it’s like after a long wait
For affection. Things can turn out a mess
Just do what you love doing, that’s the best
Chance of happiness. Then situations
Will come and go and before it’s too late
You’ll meet more people. No-one is faultless
And most people are ruled by their passions
But out there somewhere there will be a mate
