Walk up Rivoli, Louvre, Tuileries, pour
Promener le Champs Elysées; a strong
Espresso (and rest) chez Café George Cinq
Then on to the Arc, unusually crowded
With police and army. Bir Hakeim Métro
And it’s a short, bothersome walk that brings
One to la Tour Eiffel, decorated
In blue, with sparkling light show every hour
