114 - I just cleaned the floor with dustpan and brush

I just cleaned the floor with dustpan and brush.
I hate vacuum cleaners (and they hate me).
More fluff and debris you will never see
Than what I got off my floor. (Made me blush.)
More hairs than on a lion’s mane I found;
More dust than in that Dust Bowl in the States;
More crap than in sewers; ‘nuff to fill crates…
A thriving ecosystem, I’ll be bound!
Well now it’s flushed away, off to the tanks
Where sediment and clean water divide.
The water comes back, but where do they hide
The dusty shit to which we say, No thanks?
Maybe they send it out to sea, or burn
Or bury it. Who knows? I’d love to learn!
