337 - Some aliens abducted me today

Some aliens abducted me today
Because they caught me drawing crop circles.
“Alien! That’s our job!” I heard one say
To me, sounding like I’d raised his hackles.
I waved a grey rag riddled with wrinkles
That used to be a clean white handkerchief,
Praying to God for some new miracles,
In desperate need of physical relief.
“He’s ugly,” said the son of their big chief.
“Son, don’t be rude to natives, coz one day
Some aliens might ring on our doorbells.”
“But Dad, I’ve been brought up with the belief
That we’re the only species that can stray
To other planets. Us and no-one else…”
