181 - The nineties seem so recent in my mind

The nineties seem so recent in my mind.
But watching TV footage from those days
That seem like yesterday, I see I’m blind
To time’s long march. Since then it’s not been kind
To all those pretty people, once defined
As young and sexy, some now fat or grey,
Their hair much thinner than it was, like mine;
Like me, celebrities are in decay.
Most women I know keep grey roots at bay
By use of a bottle, but they will wind
Up any man that does the same, and praise
Him if he grows old gracefully. Do they
Do that so that no younger girl will find
Their man attractive? Explain women’s ways!
