Free market, but less Chinese goods! they whine.
Protect our workers but screw yours! ain’t fair;
Still, that’s the liberal western party line.
We vote for them, or maybe we abstain.
In Britain, we don’t even have a say
In who our leader is. I ask again:
Who gave us the right to say yea or nay
To other regimes in those far-off lands?
Why do we hate them? Could it be the news
-papers and TV? Murdoch understands.
They monitor dissenting bloggers’ views,
Like over there in China. Self-defence,
Yes! Not invasion at any expense!
