I don’t. I watch the TV news, and eat.
I find that history and literature
Give a much wider, deeper and complete
View. The rest is childish babble, gossip,
Speculation, even propaganda.
You won’t hear ‘celebrity’ from my lip;
I’d rather be shat on by a panda.
Fame now seems the only growth industry.
If we don’t make it, then we must obsess
Over the weight or affairs of Britney,
Or this year’s model. I couldn’t care less;
It’s all done for the camera anyway.
The more shameless you are, the more they pay.
