I fell headfirst into a pumpkin’s mouth;
The biggest pumpkin I had ever seen!
I flew through orange air towards the south,
And out the other end, on Halloween.
I found myself unable to say which
Among those frightening ladies I should kiss
That stood around me. Each one was a witch!
Which one? Oh, someone please save me from this!
I snatched a broomstick lying on the ground
And jumped on board, clinging for my dear life.
It sped past several superheroes bound
For troublespots, and took me to my wife.
For once I was relieved to see her face.
Then I woke up and rejoined the rat race.
