81 - Come on, all noisy birds, gossip away

Come on, all noisy birds, gossip away,
And chatter all about the night gone by -
And who was seen in who’s nest, by the way,
You won’t believe - I’ll tell you in the sky.
But first, before we fly off to confer,
I’m keeping both my nosey eyes and mouth
On worm duty; if any of ’em stir,
I’ll grab ’em by the north, or by the south.
My little ones enjoyed their sleepover
On your branch just the other night - thanks for
Feeding them all those lovely grubs - never
Have I seen such a beak-watering store!
The sun is up, the workers out of bed:
We’ll chat again more quietly when we’ve fed.
