139 - First there was sunshine, then dark clouds and rain

First there was sunshine, then dark clouds and rain
Then in the evening it began to snow
And so as I was driving home again
My car slid on the road out of Wilmslow
On TV now I’m reeling from the blow
That climate change could strike all in a rush
The fires, the thick black smoke, a golden glow
Over the Amazon, its trees, its bush
As clouds of CO² rise up to push
The temperature still higher, and the ice
From the poles as it melts will flow and flush
Out people from the coastal plains, entice
Them inland, refugees causing meltdown
In human relations in every town
