143 - Let's tour the human body in a ship

Let’s tour the human body in a ship
Injected into a vein of the arm.
The quiet backwaters are nice to slip
Around in for a while - there’s no alarm
As we look through our windows at the farm
For white cells called the bone marrow - there they
Go - see? - and join the stream ready to harm
Those ugly bugs out there that swim their way.
That turbulence that’s making our ship sway
Is from our closeness to the heart - so grip
On tight and please will all you kids keep calm
For now we’re moving up, making headway
Through throat we thread, the voicebox and the lip
In full effect, and above, a brain storm…
