159 - The snow has moved north but missed us again

The snow has moved north but missed us again
Its over the north east and Scotland now
While my north west is just treated to rain
So heaven knows I’m miserable. But how
Come no wondrous white blanket could endow
The Manchester skyline with luxury
And workers with the day off we allow
Ourselves, claiming transport difficulty?
And I’ve not yet talked about each pussy
Or dog or duck denied a pond skate. Crane
Your necks as you may, you’ll see no snow plough
Round here. Poor polar bear in zoo, busy
Doing nothing, nothing this year it’s plain -
This snowless problem’s the size of a cow!
