207 - I feel my sandwiches and banana

I feel my sandwiches and banana
Dissolving in my stomach into me,
Becoming me: wheat, meat, fruit. This drama,
This tempest, this strange change in a cruel sea
Of acid, though it be brutal, deadly,
Renews, refreshes and recycles. All
My characters unite as energy,
All equally invited to the ball.
They waltz and whirl; they twirl, they twist and crawl.
In Salzburg, Pittsburgh, iceberg-holed liner,
The play, the dance goes on wherever we
Are. Players, partners change and sometimes fall,
But all keep time, with never a loner
Unwilling to join in the revelry.
