212 - Blue skies and eyes, moon, rhythm and blues tune

Blue skies and eyes, moon, rhythm and blues tune;
The yellow sun, sand, half a bee, belly;
Reds under beds, fed ketchup with a spoon;
A purple patch of blackcurrant jelly.
The brown Mississippi, muddy, smelly;
Green men from Mars, green cars, grass, jealousy;
Black and white views of newspapers, telly;
Fire’s fury, orange-furred tiger pussy,
Or pretty in pink panther, street hussy;
Grey skies and eyes, hair, smoke-smothered platoon.
Yellow and green: spring hillside, Llanelli.
Red, blue: a bridge in London, with bus. The
Red-brown runaway slave they called ‘maroon.’
The black and blue opponent of Ali.
